1.1 Service Agreement

By placing a custom order on our in-house handcrafted products, you are entering into a service agreement with The Pillow House for Kids, products Made by Tammy Sherrill. You are commissioning professional, bespoke sewing services. The total project price covers the specialized skill, labor, and time required to handcraft your unique items.

1.2 Handcrafted Nature

Because each item is handcrafted in-house, slight variations in pattern placement or stitching may occur. These are not flaws but are hallmarks of the authentic, manual construction process that defines The Pillow House for Kids. 

1.3 Project Scope & Customization

• Design Finalization: All design specifications and measurements must be finalized before production begins.
• Revisions: Any requested changes to design or measurements after the sewing process has commenced may incur additional labor fees.
• Final Sale: Due to the personalized nature of custom-sewn items, all sales are final once the service is completed by The Pillow House for Kids.

2.1 Materials & Supplies

• Standard Orders: For your convenience, the cost of standard high-quality fabrics and notions is typically included in the total service price.
• Specialty Requests: For specific custom requests involving premium or specialty textiles, materials may be billed as a separate line item or purchased specifically at the customer’s request.

2.2 Licensed Fabrics & Commercial Patterns

We take pride in helping you bring beloved characters and designs to life while respecting the intellectual property of original creators:

• The Service: You are hiring The Pillow House for Kids, products Made by Tammy Sherrill for the labor and craftsmanship required to construct your garment or accessory.
• The Goods: Any licensed fabrics (e.g., Disney, Marvel, sports teams) or commercial patterns are purchased legally at retail for your specific project.
• Ownership & Affiliation: The Pillow House for Kids does not claim ownership of, or affiliation with, any trademarks or copyrights associated with third-party patterns or fabrics. You are paying for the professional transformation of these materials into a finished heirloom piece.

 3.1 Important Safety Disclosure: Lounge Robes & Housecoats

Our heirloom-quality lounge robes and housecoats are handcrafted by The Pillow House for Kids using 100% natural cotton flannels and premium cozy textiles. 

CRITICAL SAFETY NOTE:

• Intended Use: These garments are designed strictly as Lounge Robes and Housecoats for daytime relaxation and comfort.
• Flammability: Please be advised that these items are made from natural, high-quality cotton and are NOT treated with flame-retardant chemicals.
• Sleepwear Standards: Because these garments do not meet federal flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, they are NOT intended for use as pajamas or for sleeping.
• Supervision: As with all loose-fitting children’s apparel, please ensure children are supervised and kept away from open flames or heat sources while wearing these garments.
