Shipping Policy
Thank you for choosing The Pillow House for Kids. Every in-house handcrafted product and curated Retail item in our collection is selected or made with care to ensure the highest quality for your child.
- Processing Time (Ready-to-Ship): Most Retail accessories and pre-made Handcrafted clothing or pillowcases are ready to ship within 3–5 business days.
- Processing Time (Custom Orders): Because Custom Orders are a dedicated sewing service, please allow 1-2 weeks for the labor, skill, and time required to handcraft your unique item before it ships.
- Shipping Rates: Rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and the weight of your order.
- Tracking: Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number so you can follow your package’s journey to your door.
Returns & Exchanges
To provide you with the best service, our return policy is based on how your product was created:
- Custom Orders (In-House Handcrafted): Because these products are made specifically to your requested measurements or fabric choices, they are considered a personal service. All Custom Orders are Final Sale and are not eligible for return or exchange.
- Ready-to-Ship Products (Handcrafted or Retail): This includes our pre-made clothing, pillowcases, and curated boutique accessories (such as purses or books) that are already in stock. These items may be returned or exchanged within 14 days of delivery, provided they are in their original, unused condition with all tags attached. Buyer is responsible for costs of return shipping.
- Return Shipping: For eligible Ready-to-Ship returns or exchanges, the buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as The Pillow House for Kids cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Shipping costs from the original order are non-refundable.
- Damages: If your item arrives damaged, defective, or there is an error with your order, please click here to contact us immediately, so we can make it right.
Weekend & Holiday Processing
Business Hours & Shipping
Please note that our "Business Days" are Monday through Friday. While you are welcome to shop and place orders 24/7, The Pillow House for Kids does not process or ship orders on Saturdays, Sundays, or Federal Holidays. Any orders placed over the weekend or on a holiday will begin their processing time on the following business day.
Extended Holiday Returns
- Eligible Items: Retail products and Ready-to-Ship Handcrafted products purchased between November 15th and December 24th may be returned through January 15th.
- Custom Orders: Please remember that all Custom Orders remain Final Sale and are not eligible for the holiday return extension.
- Return Shipping: As always, the buyer is responsible for all costs of return shipping. This extension gives your gift recipient plenty of time to ensure their handcrafted item is a perfect fit.
Holiday Delivery Deadlines
Due to the "heart and hands" nature of The Pillow House for Kids, products Made by Tammy Sherrill, we recommend the following order deadlines to ensure delivery by Christmas Eve:
- Custom Orders: Please place orders by December 5th to allow for our 1–2 week handcrafted production window.
- Ready-to-Ship & Retail Items: Please place orders by December 15th.
Please be mindful that carrier delays (USPS/UPS) during the peak holiday season are outside of our control; however, we will provide tracking for every package so you can follow its journey.
